So apparently I forgot how mold works

Has friends besides tanks now
Last week I swam a bit, and I forgot to hang the towel and suit I used. The towel was covered in mold and smelled horrendous when I took it out today.

I'm so fucked when I enter the real world.

  • This reminds me, I need to do laundry.
  • Till shade is gone, till water is gone, into the Shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath, to spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the last Day.
I'm so fucked when I enter the real world.

    I know that feel, bro.
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!

+1 to the "I know that feel, bro" count.
  • Clean your room little Billy
When it comes to mold, remember to use fire in all your cleaning.
  • I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.
Eh you'll be fine in the real world, either your washing machine will have a built in tumble dryer, or you'll have washed a huge load and so NEED to actually hang stuff up to use it.
  • I thought this would be about casting.

Also, I know that feel, bro.
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
Hell, screw the real world, I'm not ready for college yet.

Trust me, post-secondary is less scary than high school teachers make it seem as long as you actually do your homework (and not at the last minute). Unless you decide to go into something like Engineering Physics which constantly pressures you until the last minute, at which point Master Hand have mercy on your soul (though they do warn you about those degrees ahead of time).

I'm in college. In my second year.

Definitely going to need to switch majors, and possibly schools.
  • Have you seen the counselor?

    OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
    I probably should...

On the other hand, I feel like they'd try to convince me to stay even if it wasn't in my best interest.
  • Give them pleasure - the same pleasure they have when they wake up from a nightmare.
I don't know that feel bro.

    Sorry it's true.
  • ^ Inuh - I would definitely speak to the counselor before you decide what to do. Changing universities would be a big decision. If they're proper professionals, they'll put your interest first.

On topic, I was making my tea earlier and found that the pasta I bought a couple of days ago had already gone mouldy. I shouldn't have put it next to the fruit.

Well, see, here's the thing. My major was the only one they offer that I'm interested in, and I suck at it to the point that I don't think I can finish it.
  • Are you sure you're that bad at it, though? Do the tutors who run your course agree, for instance? It might be worth speaking to them.

Would it be worth repeating a year, if they let you do that sort of thing, or are you really never going to improve?

Well, I've only barely passed any class involving programming, which is 70% of my major.

I feel like learning to program is something I'd be capable of doing, eventually, at my own pace, but doing it for a class...it doesn't go so well.
  • Unfortunately, I can barely programme a washing machine, so I'm not the best source of advice on that area. But whatever you do in the end, think through your alternatives before deciding. Making snap decisions under pressure is never a good idea.
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
Oh, I'm definitely going to think about it at length.
  • Kichigai birthday!!
That's because you don't use Kabi Kiraaaaaaaaa

    well.

    I know that feel, bro.

With that said, I often hear that not getting good grades in higher education doesn't mean you won't do fine in practice.

Do talk to a counselor about it, reviewing your career choice is one of their tasks.
  • Thane of rum-guzzling and necromancy

Reminds me of the time when I tried to wash some of the opposite sex's underwear in a sink with soap, then put it on a radiator to dry. Unfortunately I left it too late and ended up putting it in a bag under the bed. Then I forgot and when I opened the bag again, the stench was horrible. FUN TIMES.
