The last line of "Semi-Charmed Life"

edited 2011-03-07 01:23:21 in General
(Ok, the real last line is "I want something else", but you know what I mean)

"The sky was gold it was rose I was takin' sips of it to my nose and I wish I could get back there someplace back there in the place we used to ARRARRARRRRR"

Seriously, what is that last part? Is it even real words?

    (DISREGARD THIS POST)
  • No, no, I got that part. I'm talking about the very end of the song.
  • Oh, right.  I see what you're talking about.

    Hold on...
  • Hm... it definitely starts with a "ST-" sound.  "STAAAHRHARARHAHARAHRARHA" is not a word though, so that's tricky.
  • I've seen various sources call it "start", "stay", and, oddly, "start our lives", which is long enough, but has, you know, consonants in it.
  • It sounds like "start" to me, but that doesn't make too much sense to me.

"Stay" make more sense but... it doesn't sound like it so much.

"Start our lives" would be nice because yeah it's the right length but.. yeah.

I wonder if finding a live version of the song would help.
