I just got a point in Solatorobo where a plot-important ability can be activated in battle by pressing L+R (Any more elaboration would be a MASSIVE spoiler).

God dammit. And I was getting so enthralled in the story too (Solatorobo is a goddamn amazing game, you owe it to yourself to pick it up as quickly as possible)...I'll have to borrow my friend's DS.

(Also, sadly enough, Solatorobo has only one save slot. A shame, because if I give it to my friend for him to play, he'll have to delete my file to make his own).

Can you get another DS? You should be able to get a used Lite pretty cheap.

I had a similar issue with mine.

Got it fixed. Cost less than a used one would have, but not all THAT much less. I think he said it was a hairline crack on one of the boards, or something similar.

I had one.

Then a little scuffle between me and my dad resulting in the entire top screen damaged. The top screen of it doesn't turn on. At all.

It happened on my DSi, too.

For both triggers. Now I have to use my 3DS to play any game that requires L or R, but that's not much for me.
