Speedruns are amazing. Whether they're using tools to exploit glitches to teleport to the final boss of Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance or just sitting on the couch and rushing through Demon's Souls in 55 minutes, they're always amazing to watch.

I once saw a Majora's Mask speedrun that... well, it expanded my perception of reality, at any rate.

I also like 1cc (no-death) runs for shmups. It's amazing to see some people's skill.

Tool-assisted speedruns can be fun to show how far the system could potentially be broken, but it's more satisfying when it's just a human and the game.
