Those things hipsters wear on their necks

It's not the garment itself that bugs me or the fact that they've been successfully ruined by the smug bastards who wear them, it's that no matter what, I can never remember how the name is spelled or pronounced, seeming to forget it a second after looking it up. It's infinitely irritating.

No, I think it starts with a K.

    Kansufflei?

    Kokoro?

    Katface?

    Kalamari?
  • Nah, nah, that's not it. It's some sort of foreign shit.

    ...Koffing?
  • If you wear one, it'll ruin it for them.
  • ^That almost sounds worth it if they didn't remind me of something a hobo would wear.

^^I know I've seen it spelled differently. Is that one of those things where no one can agree on the spelling or something?
  • "Rachel Ray wore one once, and while I don't really care about her, she got criticized by world-class idiot Michelle Malkin for wearing it because it made her look like she was kinda Arab-ish and therefore a terrorist sympathizer or something."

Please, please tell me you're joking.
  • Wow. Just when I think people can't get any more ignorant, I'm proved wrong.

^ You get used to it. I once read an article about a guy who insisted that black holes be referred to as "African-American holes".
  • ...Okay, that, I found funny for some awful reason. That had to be a parody.

I think there was an incident once where a person working in some office called... something... a "black hole of productivity" or something, because I guess it... caused a lot on unproductiveness.

In any case, he got fired, I think.
  • I think there was a lot of context missing from those stories to accentuate the "PC gone mad" point of view, but I sadly won't be able to fidn any proof right now. Both of those stories seem suspect, though.
