    When I was younger I would always take a flashlight and try to write my name. I was never very successful.

    It's easy. Just slow down shutter speed to...urm, let's asume 2 secs, use a source of light in a darkroom and move the camera's lens, not the camera itself. Also, remember that you have to write it backwards.
