    Actually, looking back there was one forum I really loved back in the day.  Unfortunately it went really downhill quickly, and now all it is is two guys comparing their Nuzlockes, how long they are, how far they penetrated the game, how much time passed before they blew it...

    Sigh.

    ^^Yeah, uh... There's a whole buncha people on IRC that bring you up whenever shitty old posters come up.  Actually, you're usually one of the first brought up. >.>

    Mostly because the only forums I've ever really posted on were this and TVTropes, and I don't particularly miss that.

    The one forum I miss were the Spore boards. Sure, there was a lot of infighting due to the game's demographic ending up vastly different from what was originally intended, but the people that actually created stuff were an amiable lot and I learned a lot from them. Unfortunately, pretty much everyone I associated with had left after I came back to the game a year later, which took all the fun out of it.

    Ignoring the really poor choice of words there, I'd say that there's nothing wrong about talking badly about people banned per se. Sometimes idiots are banned and they are put on as an example of what to do if you ever feel like having a big banhamer incrustrated in your face forever.
