It's weird. It's not even a thing of embarrassment or wishing I posted something else, it's just like seeing the posts of someone else. It's sort of like looking through a time machine and not really recognizing your younger self despite knowing it's you.

  • Sometimes I see posts I made years ago that are better than anything I write today.
  • Thankfully, the Homestar Runner self-insert fanfics I wrote have long since been deleted. My Stinkoman levels are still there, though.
  • Sometimes I want to read my RetroJunk posts, but I don't want to.

^^^Same. It's like, I'm a complete dumbass now, but younger me was like some sort of genius or something.

Great, now I'm jealous of loli!Bob.
  • I get this for posts I made a few days ago. I plucked up the courage once to reread some of my dumb kid posts, they were actually snarkier and generally better than the vomit I produce now, which is weird because I have nowt but mostly bad memories of that place, I think my speaking rhythm is better now, though.

Also, I wrote fanfics as a kid. They're all gone. Fucking gone, I deleted them years ago while pirating music off Youtube via TV Trope's Crowning Music page, and it felt so badass except for the fact I saved them to the hard drive because I don't like deleting shit that unique, which is a blessing and a curse.

Almost all my TV Tropes posts I loathe. I'm trying hard to make sure any new internet accounts I make can't be traced back to it.
