Closed system
Whenever someone points out that the 2nd law of thermodynamics doesn't
apply to a system that exchanges energy with its surroundings, said
person will say it's not a "closed system". A system that doesn't
exchange matter with its surroundings is a closed system, whether it
exchanges energy or not. The term you're looking for is "isolated
system".
