    Is it me, or are there a lot of cards in this set just asking to be broken?

    I don't know much about the metagame, but I don't think those cards can't really break the game, so far.

    Not to mention, everything can be countered.

    Laboratory Scientist sticks out the most in my mind, right now. Mill yourself out, hopefully through drawing, and win the game? Plus, it's blue, so with any luck it can counter enemy counters. I could see that being abused.

    There are a few others I could see getting abused.

    Laboratory Maniac only nets you that win condition if it's on the field. Creatures are probably the most vulnerable card type. Admittedly, you can come up with something like Darksteel Plate, which would mean that Wrath cards can't touch it, but you can use stuff to force sacrifices in order to take it out.

    It's a very good card, but it's hardly hax material.

    A friend told me that there's some card with a cumulative upkeep cost that, if it's not paid, causes you to exile your library. I wish I could find it, but that seems like it would combo pretty well with Laboratory Maniac.

    Though the current block is probably safe from such shenanigans.
