Sure you have to use Tinyurl, but it works.

It's for mini-blogging. It costs less time and energy to use a twitter than it does to use a blog. It can be used to disseminate information quickly and simply. I fail to see the problem.

I always thought Twitter was kinda cool because of how hyperconnected it feels. And it seems huge to me, like there's all this information being shot around one place in a short frame of time

...You know that sounds like some kind of description for the Internet that would be used around 15 years ago.
