How can anyone be so obsessed with TV Tropes forum that he will circumvent a mass-IP ban and multiple banhammers just to keep coming back? To expend that much effort, what kind of life is that?

And it's not like the guy has any tact, either. His posting style is always so transparent.

Comments

  • Because most other sites require email address confirmation.

    TVT does not.

    And apparently he loves Tropes.
  • It's not like using a proxy takes much effort.
  • For the longest time, I must admit I actually thought he kept switching computers just to log back in again, mostly because of the area-wide IP ban.
  • Either way I kind of don't miss him. Not because I hate him, but because I started when the "FUCK the SHIT out of her" thing started.

    It was so awesome.

An area-wide IP ban would make that more impractical, not less.

If he's using a proxy, he can just switch to a different one once he gets banned on one.

And if the proxy is something like tor, he can just click one button to switch to a new proxy.
  • The worst part is that the fact that we're genuinely frustrated by him means he's actually trolling us effectively, albeit not in the way he wants.
  • He gets to waste our time, annoy us, and ban evade.

We can pretend we find this hilarious, just until he jumps on our IP.

Getting on my IP would be difficult since I'm not running a proxy server and I don't share an IP with anyone else as far as I know.

Well, at home anyway.  I guess if someone at my school decided to run a tor relay or something, then I could get screwed over that way.

Awwwwwwwwwww When do you graduate? Be prepared for High School
  • -is loli!DYRE?-
  • I mean

    What grade are you?

regular!DYRE answer: College freshman.  Or maybe college sophomore.  I dunno.

loli!DYRE answer, because according to your previous post I haven't even been in high school yet:
5th grade!  I totally don't need to worry about high school yet, silly!

Is it weird if I edited this post like 3 times because I couldn't decide how old loli!me should be?

    Maybe.
  • Huh, loli!DYRE is older than loli!CA, otherwise known as Charlotte.
  • Loli!DYRE x Lolicon!Tnoph OTP
  • I remember when he used to post normal, if uninteresting relationship/school complaints. He seemed okay. What the hell happened to him?
  • Blaze Bullet?  He's that guy who started all those troll threads, and spent his time in IJBM complaining about how girls only like jerks and how He Hates Everything and then made that thread complaining about how we aren't serious enough, and finally topped it off by vandalizing all of our pages, right?
  • Yup. He hit mine first. ^^
  • Hey, at least he got to you before he ran out of things to say.  His brain apparently overloaded before he got to mine, because all he did was spam the letter A a million times.  Man, trolling that thread was the most fun I've ever had wasting an entire evening.
  • Hey, at least he hit yours! My page has never been vandalized by a troll! (Wait, why am I complaining about that?)

Also, I remember that thread; it was fun. Especially when the MFE situation started to die down, and we all started spontaneously roleplaying. (I confessed to the arson at WFJH and stole AU's bus, while the others readied a doomsday device to try and stop me, or something like that.)
  • I was a news reporter reporting on all the damage that had been done, until the thread descended into pure chaos.

Well, newsroom brawls ARE more interesting than newsroom reports about brawls.
