Paid $1.25 for a can of pop (didn't have enough for a bottle) The can, a bottle of ice tea, and a bottle of coke all came out A bottle is $2.50, so I paid a fifth of what I needed to get all that :3

I am Dr. Ned who is totally not Dr. Zed in disguise.
When I was in school the Euro 20c coins were seen as the UK vending machines at £1 coins, meaning you could buy say a Mars bar and still get like 70p change.

They removed our school vending machines after our trip to Holland :(

So for the equivalent of about 17p you got a 70p and a chocolate bar.

Which as a young teen was the best exchange rate ever!
