    I didn't think it was that bad. I mean, sure, I cried a bit, but with the way it was spun to me, you'd think it was the death of that pet you had for ten years.

    And I didn't feel much during it besides "this is really depressing".

    It's an anime about a guy who is in a lot of debt and gets into very weird high-stakes gambling situations in attempt to get out.

    It's better than it sounds.

    What's odd is that when I first watched Uta~Kata, I didn't think much of it.  It was...an interesting plot, to say the least.

    But upon revisiting it, some of the scenes can be rather...disturbing, even.  Such as that one scene from the Flower episode.
