People like Roberta and Ginji who can defy, destroy and dodge bullets midair, run as fast as cars and destroy things with simple weapons that normally cannot be destroyed in said manner. Even if they are references to John Woo movies, they bug the shit out of me because of how they are conveyed.

    Black Lagoon isn't close to realism. There's some references to American and international culture, and some research on the politics of the underworld, but it's mostly about character drama and badass violence.

    Well everytime somebody shot at Rambo he was trying to cover himself (somewhat), and wasn't walking through bonfires or explosions and being almost bulletproof and avoiding even the most fatal bullet sprays thrown at him.

    I suppose that's somewhat true of the first film. The sequels are crazy though, except for the 'John Rambo' movie.
