Creature - Florida Dragon Turtle Human
...I discovered Ferrucio Busoni's Nine Variations on Chopin's Prelude in C minor.

Now I want to learn this piece.

  • lol.

Anyway, just download it from bakabt or something.  It's a pretty good show, I liked it quite a bit, though it did have plenty of problems too, as should probably be expected with shows of that nature.

Ehh, I'm not sure if I want to add this to my to-watch list right now.  I did basically watch the second half of first episode (minus the audio, but the presence of subs definitely helped), so I get the premise.

I just don't get how they end up with like seventeen different Cure characters by the end of however many seasons.

For what it's worth, episode 1 part 1 features another piano piece, one that seems to be by Messiaen, from what I know of his style.

For the most part, each Pretty Cure series is totally unrelated to the others (except for Pretty Cure Max Heart, which is a direct sequel to Futari Wa Pretty Cure, and Yes! Precure 5 GoGo, which is a sequel to Yes! Precure 5), which means an entirely new batch of Precures.  Not to mention, they kind of give up on the exactly-two-main-characters thing the instant the show stops making reference to it in the title (so, every series after the first).  If you ever do feel like watching a Pretty Cure series, maybe you should start with Heartcatch Precure!, since it's generally considered to be the best.

I've actually only watched Futari Wa Pretty Cure and like a quarter of Heartcatch Precure though...  I probably will watch the others eventually though.

Dub or sub?  The bit of the dub that I saw seems to be somewhat different.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
I just keep reading the title as 'Futanari Wa Pretty Cure', which... weirds me out.

^^ I watched a subbed version of Futari Wa Pretty Cure.  Though, I don't remember reading about any major differences between the dub and the original (other than the usual name and music changes and the like).  And of course I'm watching Heartcatch subbed because it didn't even have a dub (though I'd watch the sub anyway).

Unless you mean something else, because that question doesn't seem to be related to anything I said...

  • a little muffled
IIRC the dub changed the names but was largely faithful. I'll ask Pirka if there are any other real changes to it, since she watched and enjoyed both versions.
