  • One foot in front of the other, every day.
Personally, Disney characters don't put me in an ass-kicking mood.
  • Mr. The Edge goes to Washington
^Which is funny, because the main characters are supposed to be ass-kickers. Simba, Aladdin, Hercules, Peter Pan, the Beast.
  • One foot in front of the other, every day.
Four of those ain't Disney, remember.
  • Mr. The Edge goes to Washington
If you mean, they aren't original Disney characters, then true. But the Disney versions appear in KH so the statement stands.

    KH

As somebody who only played the first game all the way to the Tarzan level and had to return the PS2 to her little brother's friend, I have to say seeing old FF7 characters come back (mostly Aeris(th), whom was my favorite), was very nice. About the only reason I was even interested in the game. I can say it was okay.
  • Mr. The Edge goes to Washington
It was weird how Cloud's friends take orders for Squall Leonhart though.
  • ☭Unstoppable Sex Goddess☭
Then came Dissidia, so I am okay with not playing KH.
  • Mr. The Edge goes to Washington
    Crossover without the Disney.
  • They're somethin' else.
The only reason I would even consider even playing KH is because of the OH GOD DISNEY IN MY FF SQUEE.

If There's too much yaoi and bish and boring final fantasy crap overtaking the Disney, there's no reason for me to play it anymore.
  • The yaoi is pretty much confined to teenage girls on deviantart, as far as I can tell, and Sora is actually pretty chipper, even if you don't compare him to the stereotypical JRPG protagonist.

Mr. The Edge goes to Washington
"Riku?! Which one are we talking about? One K or two Ks?"

    "Jack? Skellington or Sparrow?"
  • ^ Oh my gosh yes. Had those exact exchanges all the time, the Rik(k)u one especially.
  • $80+ per session
That is avoided because the characters never appear in the same world.
  • Mr. The Edge goes to Washington
Not so avoidable in when talking about it in real-life though...
  • $80+ per session
Who talks about RIkku when talking about KH?

  • Mr. The Edge goes to Washington
I did when telling my wife about how pointless Rikku and the other YRP girls are to the story of KH2.
  • I did when I was new to the series and all I knew was that it was Disney/FF crossovers. XD
  • $80+ per session
If we are talking about characters from FF I'd like to see in KH, Lightning and Kefka.

    Garland and Ultros.

Ultros would love all of those sweet princesses.

And Garland would knock everyone down.
  • Kuja~~~

    Kuuuuuuuuuuuja~~~~~
  • Also, Jecht. The opening tutorial would feature Tidus getting his ass handed to him as a fake-tutorial boss, then Jecht comes in and headbutts Sora into a wall.

He then goes onto complete the entire game by himself.

Mr. The Edge goes to Washington

"Why do you keep saying heart when you mean soul?"

    Also,

Yen Sid: The Nobodies don't have hearts, so kill them whenever you see them.

    Sora: Alright!

Me: Yen Sid, you fucking racist! Roxas has a heart! Sora, you are the reason why the Holocaust happened!

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
    Roxas has a heart!

Not as far as we know.

Also, even if he does, it's not actually racist if it's true for every single member of a species except one.
  • Mr. The Edge goes to Washington
But how do we know that they don't? They have consciousness, memories, emotions, and can form friendship and love. If that's not having a heart, I don't know what is. Plus, it always bothered me that Sora just accepted this without question.
  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
We know that they don't because that's literally what they are. They're what's left after the Heart is taken from them- that's literally how they are created, by a Soul imposing its' will on a body with no Heart after the Heart is stolen to make a Heartless.

The lack of a Heart is what makes them a Nobody.
  • Mr. The Edge goes to Washington

Yes, but obviously they have some sort of replacement heart or the echo of a heart. I acknowledge that "Nobodies" are imcomplete beings but for the most part they want their hearts back. They want to be complete again. Just this desire to be complete suggests that they are not completely without.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
    There's... an echo there.

A hollow feeling where something used to be.

    Like a phantom limb.
  • Mr. The Edge goes to Washington

Okay, we can agree with that. I do think that the Nobodies, or as least the conscious ones are still Somebodies at least. Sure, Organization XIII is up to no good, startin' making trouble in the neighborhood. But that doesn't mean Nobodies are evil. Though it doesn't help that all of the named Nobodies are in Organization XIII.

  • If you must eat a phoenix, boil it, do not roast it. This only encourages their mischievous habits.
In case you are not aware, it has been stated that if both the Heartless and the Nobody of a person is killed, that person is resurrected.
