Last night's Daily Show bit with John Hodgman

MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
They were talking about Border's closing down. The first thing that bugged me was that Hodgman made a joke about Philip K. Dick and A Confederacy of Dunces. The way he spoke made it clear that the real joke was what a pretentious nerd he is, but the joke made perfect sense to me...

Then he goes on to point out that with the death of video and book stores, sarcastic slackers who know more than you about trivial information will be completely unemployable.

Ouch, Daily Show. Right where I live.
