My AP Euro teacher changed the summer reading requirements

The new one is posted on the AP Euro course page on the school website.

First of all, who, other than my insane father, would check that page? (Yes, I'm actually glad to have him for once.)

Second, the date shows that it was only changed yesterday. Does he think we have time to read two philosophy books and ten walls of text (our textbook is pretty dense) and actually absorb it before school starts in two weeks? This also means I read the other twenty walls of text for nothing.

Third, why didn't he do this sooner?

  • ...Required summer reading is a real thing? I always assumed it was something they made up for overused newspaper comic gags.

    Has friends besides tanks now
^^ No, no, it's a very real thing. I have three such assignments right now, though I'll grant that the longest one I have to read (The Autobiography of Malcom X) is only around 450 pages, so it's probably not as bad as reading multiple textbooks.

Course, snowfox, your teacher's still a tremendous douche for doing that.
  • Well, the newspaper comics are still lame.
