Certainly, at least, it's less common than using "I" instead of "me" or vice-versa.

You know, if it's just casual conversation on a forum, I don't really give a shit. People are just talking like they ostensibly do in real life and some casualness seeps through. It's not like every post needs to be evaluated like you would a research paper. So minor errors and quirks are just there, getting butthurt about it is kinda silly to me.

@Crake: I would agree. "Myself" only really irritates me when someone uses it an attempt to sound "professional", like "Please contact Dave or myself with any questions you may have."
