    Besides, I have it worse. My shiny Ampharos is on my Silver D:

    I caught a shiny shellos...that was just slightly tinted orange. Bummer.

    I traded it for a shiny zobat and we're very happy together.

    The only shinies I've ever found were a tentacool in crystal...during a normal monotype run and a couple of shinies in a moemon hack. >.>

    Oh yeah, huh?  It's like with every new game, they're just trying to make the shiny Pikachu look even more like the regular one.  At least in Gen II it had purple stripes.

    In Gen V there's barely any difference anymore.

    Given how many shinies like Pikachu there are, I bet I've probably seen maybe six or seven shinies, but never noticed.

    Well, they do that sparkle thing at the beginning of the battle, right? So it shouldn't be too hard to notice.

    I've never even encountered a shiny (other than Red Gyarados).

    Another problem with the shiny I got is that the hack is a 3rd gen one with some 4th gen mons hacked in (replacing another Pokemon in the code) My shiny happens to be one of those (Starly). Since the creator did the spriting of those gen IV mons himself, it seems he didn't took much time doing the shiny sprites,so it looks really weird.

    I'll explain it. A regular shiny Starly is of a brownish-green colour. This one is golden and it glows.

    And no, I don't think it's a glitch since it sparkles when taken out

    Pidgey (Given to a friend)
    Pidgeot (Caught within an hour of the other pidgey as a pidgey)
    Wurmple (Night before DPPt was released :D)
    Ampharos (Silver version ;.;)
    Sharpedo/Carvanha (Cloned it like a motherfucker)
    Stunky (Gifted to my girlfriend)
    Treecko
    Drilbur

    And possibly a few others

    In rough order (Some may be a little different in order)
