you know what, fuck it.
I hate everything about Moe. End of story. Characters need more characterization. They're so empty...
Though, it's not a genre, as Fireworks pointed out. It's just an aesthetic that some shows have. It can belong to shows of any genre at all, really.
Also, moe doesn't imply a lack of characterization. It's sort of associated with that, but that's mostly because most of the popular shows associated with the aesthetic (Lucky Star and K-ON!, in particular) are comedies, based on 4koma manga... Not exactly a format known for deep characters.
^ There are... many many more shows that would be called "moe" than that.
I looked at the anime list for last season for about 2 seconds and spotted like 10 shows that would probably be called moe.
buy yeah. My stance is flipping again against/for it from time to time.
You know, I'm not trying to be argumentative. I'm just saying, don't know what you suddenly have against me.
Yuki is more moe than her anyway, and Haruhi herself is too, really.
@Fireworks: There is a working ignore extension for here.
Love you too, sunshine.
Would that make her more or less of a God Mode Sue?
Then again, I've only watched the first season of the anime. I can't imagine that changes much though.
GOD DAMN IT
I either feel guilty for hating said anime and getting emotional, or I start to hate the fandom so badly I want to kill them.
So no, I will just say "
"I do not like them, Bobby Flay"
