So I have a friend, Evie, who I met in college. She's been married for as long as I have known her. I've only actually met her husband a few times and each time he comes off as a complete douchebag. Sometimes, I'd give him another chance for a first impression only for him to fail. He comes off as arrogant and not the fun kind and just a general jerkass who doesn't care to be friendly with anyone. While Evie is an extremely sweet and caring person. She has a very motherly feel about her, which is appropriate since they have a kid now.

So, I brought Evie in to do some voice acting for a game in development I do writing for. She got the part. I haven't heard from her or my development partner for a while because I have been extremely busy with pre- and post-wedding stuff. Turns out, Evie had to quit because of her husband for some reason. I haven't gotten the full details because I just found out from my partner the day before yesterday.

    I think, she's fine. Her husband isn't physically abusive or anything and she's in good health. I might be because her husband is a computer programmer, also working on a game, and doesn't want his wife working on some other guy's game. Just a guess.
