What exactly is the deal with people who get all pissed off at it. Sometimes people notice a trope in their real life so why not make a place to put it? Why are people acting like its this evil abomination?

    If the face of Troper Tales were cool, fun, sweet, or weird things like Ice Cream Koan, Harmless Electrocution, Even the Rats Won't Touch It, or Grand Romantic Gesture or something, there would be no problem.

    But no.  The face of Troper Tales that people will inevitably notice the fastest is shit like Magnificent Bastard, Dogged Nice Guy, Brother Sister Incest, and Potty Failure.
