I just went to see it and it seemed like a major case of Adaptation Decay like they just started the damn thing in the middle of the book.

Also the title of the film is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt 2 so it would be obvious that it isn't the whole book.

Though apparently the first part was just everyone walking around in a forest and being pissed off, so it may have been for the best if they really did just start in the middle of the book.
