The current youtube video interface doesn't show how much of a video has loaded

So it's now much harder to know how fast I can fast-forward through the video.

    Wait...then that means that it shows the entire video is loaded if I start play at the very beginning!  Such a blatant lie.

    If it didn't auto play and it's before you hit play for the first time, ignore it, it doesn't load jack shit until you hit play.

    If you've hit play, then....I dunno.

    After I hit play for the first time it still shows fully-loaded.  Which, as you observed, means jack shit.
