Good news: Don't have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (One of my past thread) Bad news: My body goes, "How I shot make lactase?" Anybody know any good brands of chocolate, milk, or ice cream that doesn't use cows milk?

There's a think called Liquid Silk, and some other brands of Milk that are lactose free. Look in the "diabetic/diet" isles of your Grocery store and get some.
  • Almond milk is pretty bitchin'.

^^^ I'll make sure to keep an eye out for that

^ Sad thing is I think I get what you're laughing at
  • Yeah Vorpy's right Silk is the best and Bob Silk is almond milk.

Decided to necro this thread for my purposes again

So my body can handle fun sized chocolate bars

Yet a single sugar cookie set me off

What the HELL did my sister put in it!?

    Gluten perhaps?

I get indigestion from the mixture of gluten and lactose in cereal and milk, but by themselves they are ok in moderate quantities, and also in sandwiches.

^ Wouldn't that make me not have anything happen with a lactose intolerance test?

    What does this intolerance entail?

^^ I don't know, but sometimes peoples' bodies can react weird ways to certain food combinations.

  • It's possible to be allergic to water.

    Just throwing that out there.

    ^
It isn't technically a true allergy.

^^^^ Lactose. Basically the ability to digest it is a mutation. I lack that mutation to a degree and can't digest lactose very well

Apparently the sugar cookie had no milk in it (although I say that it lacking any dairy at all is bs)

I know something set me off though
