    However, I strongly feel the Wii is a great product for bringing gaming back to those who are tired of the same thing every other company is doing.

    The Wiimote is fantastic for classic gaming on the Virtual Console.

    I find it a bit odd how many compliments the author pays to the Wii despite giving it the title "worst game console of all time." I guess the idea is that it is the worst game console for "hardcore gamers" but from what I can tell, what "hardcore gamer" even means varies significantly from person to person. For people who do not play video games at all, I think a "hardcore gamer" may just be someone who plays a lot of games.

    I think there are definitely legitimate reason to dislike the Wii (some of which are obviously subjective), but technology-wise, I feel like calling it the "worst game console of all time" is just weird.

    I'd say «To be fair, the 3DO wasn't actually a bad console, just priced more than the launch price of the PS3 and that's before inflation is taken into account» but then I actually read the Neo-Geo review.

    That's right. Of course, The NES has a ton of accessories. The Power Glove was interesting because it was basically the Wiimote of it's time. If you think the Wiimote's motion control suck now, you should have tried on the Glove. It's so bad!

    I wish...it was more powered, and had some very hyped up games to give it some edge to it. So far my friends think wii is just the "super smash bros machine" since that's the only game anyone can marginally enjoy it with around here, since they like the ability to use the X/PS as a storage device, music player, movie player and what not along with a multiplayer gaming station.

    I use my wii exclusively for virtual console games that I missed out on by virtue of being born too late, and resident evil 4 since it has the best version of that available.
