Being threatened to get a job

I don't like feeling useless. I would be job hunting anyways

Yet before this month began, I was given until the end of July to find a job or the internet would be cut

...Big problem there is:

1) Most places here aren't even considering hiring, some even closing their doors
2) Some places only let you apply online
3) So HOW am I supposed to monitor whether or not I got into the classes I wanted in the fall when I have to monitor that online?

Does the one threatening to cut off the internet even know what kind of economy we're in? They are being unreasonable expecting you to just get a job like magic.

That's better than my parents threatening to kick me out of the house, possibly with or without three months of rent as a temporary subsidy when they do.

I'm pretty sure they'll be reasonable if it's regarding school or tracking the status of employment; dicking around on TvT won't rate that high.

Well look at places that are employing students at the moment. A lot of them will need to hire replacements when people go back to school and stop working or start working a lot less.

You'll just have to prostrate yourself in front of any company that will hire younger workers as they can be paid less due to a lower minimum wage.

So supermarkets et al.

Also your family will probably understand your educational needs for the internet.
