What's your explanation? Since you're the local there. Is it an urban/rural divide?
So basically, nobody is 100% sure what's going on, but it's clear the divisions from like 100 years ago are still visible. It's certainly tempting to say that the folks dumped in the west are less rooted in the past and therefore less inclined to support the conservative option. But you know how it goes with such analyses, there're always some details that can serve as counter-arguments.
