  • King’s Bounty: The Legend

    ...I...shouldn't...judge a book...by it's cove-

LOL PEOPLE ACTUALLY BOUGHT THIS CRUD?
  • To be or not to be? That is the question.
Huh? Why do you think it's a bad game?
  • The title just looks so...awkward.

King's Bounty: Armored Princess is a little better, though I think "The Armored Princess" itself would be better sounding. It's just rather clunky looking.

no longer cuddly, but still Edmond
Why are they making sequels to a decades-old PC game that was only notable for spawning Heroes of Might and Magic?

I mean, did they really think it would spawn a franchise?

For some reason, I keep reading the title of this thread as if it were a crossover of King's Field and Armored Core.  I'm not sure how I am making that mistake, but that sounds awesome.
  • Likes cheesecake unironically.
^^ I wonder for a long time, whether it's really (supposed to be) a sequel to the old King's Bounty, because... well, what you said, why would they do that?

After looking into it, it seems like this new series is a "sequel" in the same way that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was a sequel to the original Prince of Persia.

Hmm... I still need to play The Sands of Time...

Ironically, there was a game called Heroes of Might and Magic: Quest for the Dragonbone Staff that was actually a remake of King's Bounty. Makes you wonder why KB is its own thing now. In any case, I probably won't play these games--I doubt my computer can run them, and I didn't like the original DOS game so I can't see liking this.
