    That's another problem I have with Smallville and a lot of other origin stories. It brings up all this stuff that isn't that important. Jor-El's only importance to the story of Superman is putting him in that rocket. Clark doesn't need a holographic computer yacking at him to be a hero. He should figure that out on his own.

    I don't dislike Smallville because 'ohmigod they changed Superman'. I loves me a good what-if story. It's just a horribly told story with bad acting, special effects, and characters.
