    And . . . it surprises no one. It's not that no one is sympathetic; it's that there's nothing new to say. And your breaking out allcaps seems like a decent indicator that this will eventually lead to a shitstorm, so I'm keepin' mah eye on it.

    My dad has pulled such a stunt when angry before. Much better than having to deal with the drama and much more mature on his part, as he normally does it to go and reflect on why was he angry and how to solve it.

    Don't know what the hell did your father was angry for, so I can't comment.

    That must have really stunk. I think that no parent should badmouth the other parent in front of his/her children. I feel like that tends to mess up a child's views of his/her family a great deal and promotes factionalization within a nuclear family, something I really dislike and something that I believe often leaves deep wounds in one's view of family in general.

    A parent really should not be telling his/her son "you're a terrible son" either, at least if you want any kind of stability you should not.

    I have a feeling you do not really want my sympathy though. If that is true, I can blank this post upon your request.
