Until now, I'd read each thread, scroll up, and click the big "It Just Bugs Me!" heading.

I know, I know, scrolling doesn't take that much effort, but it still annoys me that I did all that pointless scrolling.

I actually never used that, come to think of it.  The only time it became relevant was when I didn't fully tab twice to get to the post comment button.

I usually (this originally said "always" but then I looked at my tab bar... heheh) have the main page open in a different tab anyway.  Or, if I don't, I can usually just hit the back button...

The "Bck to Discussions" link really is easy to miss.  It's written in the same style as a disclaimer, or the fine print on a bottle of pills that you don't even bother to read.  Your brain has probably just been trained to scan over it.

^^ I sometimes do that, but I often use the same technique as in the old IJBM: open a bunch of threads in new tabs, close each one as I go, and then click back to the thread list from the last one.

^ Yeah, it's in the exact same font/size/color as the "Powered by Vanilla" at the very bottom.

Interesting observation: I completely tune out page ads unless they're obnoxious; my mom's attention is easily drawn to them as opposed to the text at hand.
