    And I can see why the thread was locked. The title was changed because it could be found offensive. Then people wouldn't stop discussing it even though it wasn't the title anymore, so the thread was locked.

    I knew of blackcat's existence for a long time, but for some time I confused blackcat and Jinxed Blackcat.

    I disagree with the locking; it's not an OTC topic, and people weren't bawwing or flaming about the title anyway, so it wasn't breaking any rules, even if the title was somewhat offensive.  And in any case, the title was changed, so you'd have to head inside the thread to see the discussion about the title terminology.

    Y'all should feel free to petition that that thread be unlocked.  And feel free to use the reasoning I've presented here.  And for what it's worth, I find that term offensive too, but I haven't locked this thread.
