    In the context of AMVs, we can define "shitty" as "chosen just because you like it, no matter how inappropriate it is for the video itself".

    Hence a lot of Linkin Park and MCR AMVs. Even if you like the music, it's generally inappropriate for the video -- ergo a shitty choice.
