Batman & Robin is a better movie than Burton's Batman

MORONS! I'VE GOT MORONS ON MY PAYROLL!
There. I said it. The villains have clear goals, the story arc progresses naturally and with build-up, the action scenes are much more dynamic, and you can actually see what's going on thanks to the neon.

People just got butthurt over it being campy.

Please, note I am not saying it is by any stretch a good movie.

  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
The Adam West Batman is better than either Schumacher Batman. Not as unpopular, but whatever.
  • And that scene with Uma Thurman coming out of the gorilla suit was a keen factor in my sexual development! :D
  • When in Turkey, ROCK THE FUCK OUT
That movie helped with my sexual development as well, although I found it to be influenced more by the Bat Shark-Repellent Spray than anything.

    ...KEEEYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

...well, now that I think of it, I don't particularly care for Burton's first Batman either. Since I last saw it soon after The Dark Knight, Jack Nicholson's Joker wasn't as strong as he might've seemed pre-2008. And that grin just looked fake. Batman Returns, however, is just dandy with me.

I like how people complain about Schumachers films getting more campy than the films where there were penguin armies with rockets taped to them and a full-on musical scene with Prince.
  • no longer cuddly, but still Edmond
Oh, that wasn't the problem with Batman and Robin.

The problem was it starred a very ICE person who was COLD to your pleas for mercy and would not FREEZE because his sense of humor was HYPOTHERMIC...

To be honest, they're all okay-to-good movies at best, but I think Burton's first Batman is the best of them. In that one you could see how the events connected, while Returns on up often seemed like they were just throwing shit in there and hoping you wouldn't catch all the plotholes because hey, its a superhero flick, turn off your brain.

the Adam West Batman movie is still the best one though ;)
