This is making me feel like I'm a protagonist in some lovecraft story, and that's whats bugging me.

    Don't see what's so mindblowing about it. People want to make their buildings look cool(art), but they also want them to be built so they can keep standing up(science).

    ^Actually Architects only really care about how it looks, they leave the nitty gritty to the Architectural Engineers.

    This is why you play Minecraft. Architecture is purely art there.

    Though I'd like to see somebody try and re-create Minecraft houses in real life, including the torches attached to wooden walls.
