Okay, I'm not even gonna compare Dennis Farina to Robert Stack. Everybody knows Stack was better (too bad he's dead). What bugs me is two things: One, it seems like all the mysteries are just re-runs (with new logos and narration) of old episodes. Sometimes you just look at that footage and you can tell "this was filmed in the 80s." Are any of the mysteries actually new? Secondly... no more call center? You now have to log on to their fucking website? Oh, great. So if you actually do have information on a case but for some reason don't have internet access, some poor detective somewhere is screwed. Thanks, Cosgrove Productions! But to be honest, the new series is okay. It's fun and watchable. But its fun and watchable because its largely just a repackaging of the old series. Just with a shittier narrator and the original theme song replaced with some generic forgettable crap (why does America hate distinctive music now?) That is all.

    The reason they do the whole 80's reminder thing is because those cases aren't solved yet and the staff reroll them just in case some people have information about them.
