Got locked out today.

So. My day so far. This morning, I woke up around half an hour before my Anime club meeting started. So I got up, got dressed and stepped out of my room. Just as the door closed, I realized that I didn't have my key. But I really didn't want to miss the meeting, so I decided I'd sort it out afterwards.

Well, it turns out our housing office is closed on weekends. That was okay, I could just call the on-duty staff member...then I realized that my phone was at 3% power, which for an iPhone means "maybe ten minutes, tops." So after getting voicemail the first time I called, I finally managed to get the person, who came over and unlocked my room. It's 6:20 PM and I've been in my room for maybe five minutes.

In short: ARGH.

My entire family got locked out of our house once. Luckily, it was summer and we'd had the windows open, so my brother managed to remove (read: beat until it fell out) one of the screens and climb back in.

That's pretty lame, though on the bright side, the story at least indicates you have enough money to afford an iPhone and don't live at home, so you're doing a hell of a lot better than me.

That's good to hear, I was worried I'd have to send you some cash for your medical bills or something (kidding). If I got locked outside for that long where I live, I'd be frikkin' dead by now. At least you must have had plenty of time for a nap or something, and it's not like IJBM has done anything today.
