The new layout is ugly and the "x people liked this" just looks out of place. That, and all of Youtube's sporadic sudden changes are just annoying. It's like they're actively trying to make people hate the site.

Unfortunately they have an outrageous amount of money, the dominant userbase, and a crapload of deals with other sites, so they won't by dying soon.

I actually prefer the thumbs up/down system.  Much better than the old 5-star rating system.
