    If you didn't understand what someone was trying to type when they made a spelling error, you wouldn't know it was an error in the first place.

    Yes, spelling errors are annoying to read, but they're hardly incomprehensible, and certainly not worth having a lower opinion of someone for.

  • Wicked: This isn't about tnu, and I don't have a lower opinion of him. It's about the headaches it was cause to shift between modes of spelling that are perfectly fine in their own every time you wanted to, say, read a forum. At least with old english, spelling would be consistant in a document, ideally.
