The extent to which I'm not a people-person...
I tried to go to a convention. I mean I went there. Got to see Yuji Naka. Didn't get to touch him. So much for that plan... BUT it was mostly because I decided I didn't care THAT much.
Anyway... crowded hall. Lots of people. ENDLESS amounts of... well... fans. Sonic fans to be precise... but some of them were REALLY over-the-top into it.
NOT THE POINT!
Point is that I did NOT like being around lots of people. I tolerated it, but each hour that went past the room got hotter, I got sweatier, and the people got more obnoxious...
Until eventually I had an anxiety attack, freaked out at a few people, got outside, vomited, made a complete prat of myself in almost every way possible (just managed not to break down in tears)...... and went home. The convention is still running right now as I'm typing this, but I don't care.
I feel sick still. I'm still shaking.
I never want to go to another convention again.
I just want to sit in my nice, small, dark room... on my own.... and vegetate.
(And the smells... ;_; ...By Thor... the smells!)
