It handles windows like a Mac and it really annoys me that the workspace switcher needs you to click the workspace you want and then close the switcher. Just take me to the workspace, damn it! Merging the window menu with the Unity top panel is pretty annoying too-- it beheads my Firefox theme. And there doesn't seem to be a way to put the window buttons on the right side of the screen. Apparently, if I put a program on fullscreen, the minimize and maximize buttons don't appear unless I hover over them. Why?
And for some reason, "Appearances" disappeared, so I can't change my theme. That probably hasn't got anything to do with Unity, though.
By the way, feel free to make me feel stupid and tell me how to make my problems go away, but Google has not been kind to me today.

I don't think there's a way to make it manage windows differently, though, and that's a big thing for Geeky Me.
