Several groups (the Boy Scouts and the U.S military, for instance) have their own group of standard knots, which are all used for different purposes. But what if someone comes up with their own, equally useful knot? How do you get the Boy Scouts or some other group to adopt it? Does the ISO govern that? Some International Knot Tying Assosiation? An internal group within those organizations?

It's an anagram, people.
