. . . used on a game like Saya no Uta?

If this (possibly NSFW) had been used in the right show or game (as in, one that I actually had some sort of emotional attachment to), it would have been so awesome! Instead it was used on a four-hour game with thoroughly unlikable characters and a plot that wasn't fitting at all.

Don't get me wrong, I liked Saya no Uta, but I like this song more and feel that the game was a poor choice. Even though the song was written for the game . . . >_>

Ah, well. The song isn't going anywhere, nor is the game. But it feels like a missed chance, almost.

    The only song I've ever felt was completely wasted on something crappy was the Highschool of the Dead OP.  Which is one of my favorite anime OPs, and... well... it was for Highschool of the Dead.

    Well, I didn't think Saya no Uta was crappy, though. It was entertaining but greatly underwhelming.

    I'm not sure I could put it on a scale . . . but I'll say this: the sex scenes are standard (I don't know if they're available uncensored or not), but they're pretty frequent. I think there were somewhere around five sex scenes over the course of four hours, and the first one is not quite out-of-nowhere, but it comes pretty early on. And there's a rape scene. But there's nothing really kinky.

    So it's pretty hentai, but there's also some justification based on the plot, so not all of the sex is there for the sake of it.

    How could I forget this one? It, like the song in the OP, also happens to be by Kanako Itou. And it was used in a series that makes my soul hurt.

    Well I haven't ever watched Elemental Gelade, but I've heard it's kinda mediocre.  However, the opening theme--"Forever" by savage genius--is gold.
