@DYRE: Oddly enough, I've just seen "watersports" refer either to urination, period, or "urine play", which doesn't explicitly involve being peed upon; that would be a golden shower. Although I agree that "watersports" hardly makes sense if it's just one person wetting themself, but I was just citing the closest thing within the show to Iaculus's description.
  • Bad rhetoric, fried butter, and watersports. Welcome to IJBM.
  • Yes, but then in the ending (at least in the manga), the author suddenly
declares that they actually were all evil after all despite all the
proof otherwise throughout the series, and the humans exterminate them
    and live happily ever after.

Even before then, the "however-they-were-spelled"s had displayed ridiculously murderous and violent behaviour. It's rather telling when you have to make your human characters cartoonishly monstruous to have them be sympathetic by comparison.
  • OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
Well, up until that point, the series gave every indication that they were only violent because of how people treated them.
  • Wasn't Nana relatively nonviolent, and didn't she live peacefully after all the rest of them were genocided? Doesn't that poke a little hole in that?
  • I'm a damn twisted person
Or she's just an outlying fluke. Nobody is really sure, or cares enough to argue about it.

So it took me the better part of yesterday evening and this morning to write, but I finally decided to type it up: a thread about Jinki: Extend.
