Photoshop's 30 Day Trial

edited 2011-02-06 09:08:16 in General
I want to take it, but what if something ever comes up and I actually really could use Photoshop for more then just messing about? It's been taunting for me a while. If this was TV Tropes I'd pothole to TooAwesomeToUse.

  • Software piracy. It's a thing now.

    I'm just sayin'.
  • ^ That's also a thing now. (And happens to be the thing I use)
  • a little muffled
Yeah, I always have this issue with limited trials of expensive programs. Usually I just look for a free equivalent.
  • HAY OCCONO, I HERD U LIEK PHOTOSHOP SO I PUT A LINK IN UR MEDIAFIRE SO YOU CAN SHOP WHILE U PHOTO.
  • I once asked about pirating Photoshop in a chat room (back when I was stupider) and it turned out somebody there worked for Adobe. SCARRED FOR LIFE.

GIMP seems cool though, thanks. Better then Picasa anyway. May consider Piracy if I ever actually need Photoshop.
  • a little muffled
GIMP can do almost anything Photoshop can. I prefer Paint.NET, though, because it can still do 80% of that stuff and is about a billion times more user-friendly.
  • GIMP doesn't like tablets when you're using them in mouse mode (rather than pen mode).  This makes GIMP really hard to use since I don't have a regular mouse, so I have to use a tablet.
  • > implying tablets

I never thought about using a penpad. Due to the fact when I draw I place my wrist on the paper to keep leverage.
