    Besides, I don't know how many Latios there are in the anime, but one dies in the 5th movie.

    People still watch the pokemon anime. I lost interest around the johto arc whenever that was.

    I think what makes the situation worse is how legendary Pokemon are treated in the TV show. I mean, I thought that barely anyone even could control one in the anime, but Tobias had at least two and I thought he was quite overpowered with them.

    I also wonder what kind of message that victory is supposed to teach people (if any). I mean, I do not think you could really blame Ash much for losing and I can see no real way that he could have won unless he used overpowered legendaries too. I feel like that match really clashed with the lessons that Paul was supposed to have learned from Ash's style of training. I might be totally off there though.

    I think that having him barely lose to a regular trainer in the semis or finals would have made more sense.

    The Johto arc was by far the worst.

    And from what I've heard, the B&W season is shaping up to be much better than previous seasons.

    Well, I don't blame Ash for losing. Poor guy (I don't really get all the hate he gets actually)

    Yeah, according to Bulbapedia, legendaries are even more dangerous to use in the anime than in the games. If Tobias used a Dragonite or something (Or another overpowered Pokemon such as Bellsprout) It wouldn't be so unfair

    And the legendaries seem to be much more powerful in the Anime, too.  Or at least, more tied in to the natural world.

    Like how you can catch all the Legendary birds in the games and nothing happens, but in the animu when that Lawrence asshole did it, it really started messing things up.

    There are hints in the game that the Legendaries are not always unique, unlike in the Anime.

    Jake had a tiger morph, though. Therefore, Jake > Marco.

    Latios and Latias were never unique, not even in the game.
