People who think Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess have the same art style.

They don't. There's a pretty large difference. Mostly to do with color palette and the like.

I actually haven't heard this a lot recently but I distinctly remember someone telling me that the art styles were identical but for the N64's graphical limitations. I've also heard people who criticize WW's art style say the art style seen in both OoT and TP is better.

I'm tired and I've been on a Zelda binge all night. >.>

  • Glaives are better.
But what if Zelda was a girl?
  • Then I would do all sorts of things to her.
  • Glaives are better.
Zelda is cool, but I think his enemy Gannon is way more kawaii sugoi. ^_O nyaaa :3
  • Why's Zelda always saving that Princess Peach-looking chick?
  • Glaives are better.
I know! He's so obviously yaoi for Gannonman. ^________^ =33
  • They're somethin' else.
I wish Nintendo took the Persona 3 or Pokemon approach and made us able to play as a female link at least once.
  • One foot in front of the other, every day.
Would there even be an aesthetic difference?
  • They're somethin' else.
    Tits and thigh socks?
  • One foot in front of the other, every day.
Well, given Nintendo's attitude towards female characters (beautiful, but not overtly fanservicey), I expect Girl!Link wouldn't be that well-endowed. And thigh socks aren't very far from tights, so it really doesn't make that much of a difference.

I mean, if the next Zelda game had Girl!Link, I wouldn't care either way. Except that Link's battle cries with a female voice might end up overly suggestive, perhaps.
  • They're somethin' else.
    I'll be in my bunk.
  • One foot in front of the other, every day.
I'm pretty sure Danbooru already has Girl!Link porn, too.
  • Princess Zelda would be a better protagonist than girl!Link. [/objective fact]
  • ... What are these Persona games people keep mentioning?
Are you guys importing them or something, as I've never EVER seen one... ever.  And I've been curious for a while about all the talk that surrounds such things.

Oh... and Twilight Princess is the only Legend of Zelda game I've ever played, and I never even completed it... so... meh. Got stuck in the first few rooms of the final castle.

    OOOooooOoOoOOoo, I'm a ghoOooOooOOOost!
^No, they're out in America (with the exception of part one of Persona 2, though that looks like it's changing soon). You can get the original and the (far better) third game on PSP.
  • ... Firstly.... oh right, forgot most folks online are american. I'm a Brit. We get everything last.

Secondly... it just occurred to me.... if these games have all been platform-exclusive to S*ny consoles... then that would explain why I've never seen one. I'd rather live another century than so much as look at those shelves in GAME.

If you don't buy from Sony, I'd suggest trying a non-Persona Megami Tensei game. If you have a DS, you can get Devil Survivor, which is how I first got into the series.

And as for getting everything last, the Persona games started out on PS1, so if they're going to show up over there, they have.
  • Probably have... but I don't touch any of the diseased spawn of Ken Kutaragi.

I mean really now... he is the big bad of my pseudoreligion.  The evil forces of Ken Kutaragi  versus the might of Thor and the style of David Bowie.
